Nature and Wellbeing Centre
Proposal for a new visitor and wellness centre for Sevenoaks Wildlife Trust
The design follows Biophilic Design principles, which place nature, natural systems and the wellbeing of users at the heart of the design process.
The building would have a strong affiliation with nature through use of natural materials, natural light, natural ventilation, internal plants and nature inspired motifs.
The building is conceived as a platform for interpreting the ecology of the site and providing views of the lake and wildlife.
The building engages with nature through the use of natural materials, which weather, patinate and change with time to compliment the setting of the Wildlife Centre.
