Janie is an AABC and RIBA accredited Specialist Conservation Architect with experience in conserving and altering listed buildings and buildings in conservation areas.
Janie has a post graduate diploma in conservation from the Architectural Association. She currently leads the RIBA Conservation Training Course and the RIBA Advanced Conservation Course for architects and other professionals who wish to progress their specialism in conservation. She is also a member of the RIBA Conservation Group and is an assessor for accreditation for RIBA and CARE.
Janie joined Kennedy O'Callaghan Architects as a partner in 1999. Recent projects include the conservation of Bletchley Park and huts in Antarctica.

Kennedy has 25 years experience in helping clients to define their accommodation needs using a variety of analytical and design tools combined with option analysis. In his early career he worked at Sheppard Robson Architects on a range of large scale projects. He led the design team for the new Southlands College at the University of Roehampton. He led feasibility studies for English National Opera at the London Coliseum. He worked on Somerset House with Drivers Jonas. He collaborated with Herzog and DeMeuron on Tate Modern, scoping client/design team workshops and looking at the Tate's operational requirements.
Since setting up the practice in 1998 he brought this experience to bear on projects for the RAF Museum, the Tank Museum, Bletchley Park and the Etches Collection while working on historic buildings and projects for private clients in parallel.
